Assessment: measuring made to measure

For our 4th outing, this new edition of the BPI e-newsletter is focusing on the theme of assessment. In the variety and wealth of the exchanges and missions we carry out by your sides, you have told us just how much the skills of your teams constitute one of the major keys to success in the challenges of the future. Every day, you are the living witnesses to the permanent imposition of change placed upon you by a globalized business and corporate world which compels you to anticipate in order to grow your resources, and even go out and find them when such resources are few and far between.

The question is how to promote a successful outcome to your projects in an uncertain environment. The answer certainly does not lie with metrics in the strict sense of the term, rather with using measurement as a basis for taking account of the singular environments in which you and each of your employees now work. And the ability of BPI is indeed that of helping you to compare, choose and grow your skills, and to deliver to you a personalized and unique response.

Assessing is not just about measuring. Assessing is working to help you place the right people in the right position now and in the future. And doing so by evolving and linking the company's interests with employee advancement, and the understanding of a company with the dynamism of its teams.

Spotting, developing and harmonizing the talent inside your companies really sums up the meaning we set out to give the engagements that we conduct for you and with you.
